Academic Level of NCC English Language Framework (ELF)

Designed to raise the level of English language skills quickly and comprehensively, this course is an ideal supplement to any NCC Education programme.

English Language Framework (ELF)

English Language Framework level 3 (ELF 3): The level 3 course aims to provide students with a basic ability to function as independent users of English. Both factual and less familiar situations will be introduced to assist students with communicating beyond their immediate context.

English Language Framework level 4 (ELF 4): The Level 4 course aims to develop students into fully independent users of English. It aims to systematically improve their ability across the four skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening, as well as ensuring familiarity with, and accurate use, of a board range of grammar and vocabulary items.

English Language Framework level 5 (ELF 5): The level 5 course aims to create an opportunity for non-native speakers of English to perform on an equal level to native speakers in both academic and professional environments. Upon completion of this course, students will have obtained a level of English to satisfy the British University entry requirements and to function proficiently in professional environments.
