Dear Student,

You have chosen an exciting time to begin your studies at SDS College. The college was started by Sharp Development Solutions five years ago with a first batch of only ten students. Since then it has grown into an academic institution much bigger, and of a much higher quality than anything that seemed possible before, when we opened our doors to those first few students.

Hundreds of students have since passed through our doors, and as they have learned so have we. We have learned more about what you want, what you expect and what you deserve. We have learned that our reputation depends on the quality of our service, and that what you think about our service is more important than what we think. Our great success in the market, we have learned, is thanks to our great success in the classroom.

However, and despite everything we have learned, Sharp Development Solutions is still a young company at heart. We still remember what it’s like to be starting out on a new career, taking first steps and big decisions: we have all taken that journey too, as individuals and as parts of a highly-successful team.

We’ve worked hard to build up our skills and, through SDS College, it’s been our mission to pass on our learning to the next generation of IT Professionals. And there’s another reason why I say that this is an exciting time for Sharp Development Solutions. We have grown up and out of our early, solely IT-focused environment, and we have expanded our portfolio of courses to include a number of new Business awards and Professional Programmes, leading to qualifications from UK-recognised awarding bodies.

So you really are most welcome to join us at this exciting time. We’d like you to meet our new team of Professional, Business and IT experts. We’d also like you to see our new home, in Osborn Street on the edge of the City of London’s financial “Square Mile”. It’s a small part of the world with a big reputation
